Operation: WHAM!

For years you've been begging us to do a flash mob choreographed dance. The opportunity to do a really great dance in a public place has never arisen until NOW. Please join us this Saturday for Operation: WHAM!
Mission date
this Saturday, Feb, 26th

Spontaneous, public, choreography per request and inspired by this, this, and this. Don't worry if you're not a strong dancer. Our choreography is easy, fun, and a quick learn!

Approximate times
LESSON: 1 pm (not required if you learn the dance from the video or if you came to a previous lesson)
EVENT: 4 pm- 6 pm
PERFORMANCE: sometime between 5:30- 5:50 pm
WRAP-UP (at meeting space-- not required): 15 minutes after performance

Essential details
Our REQUIRED PRE-MEETING is at 4:30 at 416 Cesar Chavez (which is an empty retail space on the corner of Cesar Chavez & San Antonio. Look for a yellow balloon tied to the door!). Please note: this pre-meeting is for those who already know the choreography. We will be assigning dancers' spots and will only do one quick rehearsal at this time. Please plan to arrive early to find available downtown parking. If you miss this required meeting, you will miss the revealed details of where we are dancing but more importantly, you will not be assigned a place within the dance to dance. Regardless of whether you came to our first lesson, or the last (day-of) lesson, or learned the dance on the video, everyone who wished to participate must come to the pre-meeting.

DANCE CLASS: 1:00, Saturday, Feb. 26
If you missed our first lesson or would like to review it again, we will have one more lesson held in the empty retail space at 1:00 p.m. at 416 Cesar Chavez (corner of Cesar Chavez & San Antonio). This is the same space as our required pre-meeting at 4:30 pm.

Please visit our Facebook page to find a link to the choreography video review. Note: the video is only for review purposes. If you teach yourself the dance using the video, you are still required to come to the 4:30 meeting to find out where we will perform the dance and to get a space in the dance formation. We highly recommend coming to the 1:00 dance class to perfect your moves!
